Oldtimers with a story
The name Fockedey has been synonymous with a passion for cars for more than 65 years.
Tradition has been going back several generations. Grandfather Roger Fockedey already had a great sympathy for old timers before starting his business (mid-fifties).
After studying mechanical engineering, electricity and combustion engines at the technical School in Antwerp, he also studied engineering aircraft engines at the military school. With distinction, he obtained additional diplomas during his service with United States Air Forces in Europe.
During his military service he drove a beautiful Skoda Roadster from 1934.
This also created the anchored passion for vintage cars and technology.
Brands such as Borgward (Isabella), Morgan, Bentley, Alvis, Berliet, Pandhard and Levassor, MG, Unic, Delage, Buick, Maserati, several Citroen models and many other historical automotive brands have passed very regularly.
The love for oldtimers was passed on from father to son. In the collection, car models and brands such as Citroën, Minerva, Unic, Buick & old trucks shine ... with a clear nod to pre-war car models.
In the year 2018, Fockedeygroup is turning its attention to being a classic car enthusiast.
