About Type H
Italian designer Flaminio Bertoni was perhaps one of the most important influencers in European automotive history. For example, he was responsible for the design of the Citroën Traction Avant, the 2 CV, the DS and the AMI-6.
One of his most recognizable realisations, the Citroën HY Van, was recently designed by David Obendorfer and Fabrizio Caselani of the Italian FC Automobili to celebrate the 70th anniversary of this iconic model. They have designed a conversion kit that transforms every Citroën Jumper into a beautiful, timeless "new" Type H.
New Type H
With the new design they dit not intend to copy the original model, but rather to preserve the soul of the iconic vehicle. The Type H 70th Anniversary Van is a fushion of direct references to the predecessor with modern solutions, combined with the technological content of the current Citroën Jumper/Relay series.
Type H is available in all types, colors, lengths and versions.
